Sizing is very important in custom belt orders.

See 3 options below of how to measure for a belt

  • Measure your waist with a measuring tape.

Measure your waist in INCHES. The waist measurement you provide will be identified as the centered hole on your belt. A total of 5 holes will be stamped on each belt. You will have 2 holes to the right and 2 holes to the left of your centered hole. Please understand that clothing etc. sizes will not be accurate to your belt measurement.

  • Measure an old belt with a measuring tape.

If you already own a belt, measure the belt from one end to the other (not including the buckle). While measuring the belt, look for the most used hole and provide that measurement for your order. That mark will determine your current waist size.

  • Use anything available and measure it later.

A third option mostly used in the spare of the moment. Use any object such as a string, charger, rope, mule tape etc. to mark your waist size. When you get a hold of a measuring tape, measure that mark and that will be considered your waist size.

  • Full Belt Length - optional

A full belt length is the full length of the belt. This measurement does not include a buckle. It is simply the measurement of the belt from one end to the other. Most orders add 5-6 inches from the waist measurement. For example, if an order was placed for a waist 36 inches, the full belt length would usually range from 41-42 inches. FYI, current maximum belt length is 50 inches.

  • Waist ***REQUIRED***

A waist measurement is not a waist size for clothing etc. In our terms, a waist measurement is the measurement you identify from measuring your waist with a measuring tape. A waist measurement can also be identified by the most used hole from a previous belt or measuring yourself with an object such as a string, rope, charger, etc. The waist measurement is the most important measurement needed for custom belt orders. Without the waist measurement, we are unable to determine where the holes will be placed, how long the belt will be, and where the name on back will be centered. A total of 5 holes will be punched on the belt, the middle hole will be marked at the waist measurement provided.

  • Center - optional

A center measurement determines the center for the name on the back of the belt. A center can be easily measured with a measuring tape while marking the center of the back measurement. Another way, which is the most common way is half the waist measurement. For example, if your waist is measured at 30 inches, your center will be identified as 15 inches.

Use any string, rope, charger, mule tape etc. to measure you waist. Then use a measuring tape to measure the object from one end to the other and that measurement will determine your waist size.
